In our program, the teacher has the opportunity to work with faculty, post doctoral associates, and graduate students to learn basic concepts in specific areas of climate and weather. The teacher learns about key science questions and the methods and tools (instruments) that are in use to address those questions.  From this rich educational experience, the teacher develops custom-designed exercises and classroom material based on BCCSO and NASA Earth Sciences related science.  Moreover, the Fellowship provides the teacher with the knowledge to help prepare students for competitive Science Fairs within their schools
